Ed Tech Program

  What is Ed Tech Program?  - Well, Ed Tech Program teaches you how to use technology and the internet with full confidence and with competence. It focuses on technology's benefits on workplace and classroom. Should I take it? Or should I not? - There are multiple things to consider before taking Ed Tech. It's quite challenging figuring out the applications on your own, but it is very helpful when you get the hang of it. My favorite (and in my opinion, the most useful) is Canva. Infographics are needed the most in my workplace and it makes up a beautiful classroom. Canva provides multiple templates for free and many more. The advanced technology is helpful fo my paper works. Thank you for sharing AutoCrat. There are some challenges I faced on the other applications Ed Tech introduced to me, such as CITW w/ technology, creating Quizzizs and Kahoots. My Experiences and Thought on EdTech Course

EDTECH: COURSE EXPERIENCES What are your overall thoughts on this course? I think that EdTech is a very useful course that should be included in all teacher's training especially since, we as a society, are getting more engaged with technology and it has become an essential part of our daily lives. What were some student tech products you found useful in your profession? A tech product I found useful is Canva because it makes beautiful posters for basically everything. I have used Canva numerous times for work and with personal projects. Screen-O-Matic , I believe, is helpful when I want to show off my laptop screen and to just record myself without writing because I could just talk while showing what I'm working on. I enjoyed using Word Clouds and Make Belief Comix because it was fun and it's easily used.  Reflection Questions: What have you learned in this course? I learned a lot about these Google Apps that will certainly be useful in our daily lives. Not to mention, that we can use them for free! I can use this to communicate and to collaborate with others. Google Apps are easy to use. I can save and make documents without worrying that it will not save (it saves automatically!). It also saves in my Google account, which makes my projects easier to access, share, and edit. I also found out we can search images in Google. Which changes my researching skills, in general. I like how Google Earth works. In Google Earth, you can view Earth without traveling or expending money to see other places in the world. It’s like being a tourist, just without spending money on anything! Here is the video about Google Apps. I saw this video in YouTube and thought is would be helpful.
